Starting with the cancelled and postponed for the moment 40 years of the Speedagro Rally Argentina WRC 2020, which as we all know, has a pending date, without official confirmation and with much uncertainty, perhaps a light of hope to be held at the end of this year in Villa Carlos Paz. If the terrible pandemic of COVID-19, which plagues the planet, diminishes and improves.

For this reason, we include in this edition of RRM WRC Argentina Magazine 141, a brief note of what our Rally in the Province of Cordoba means, its memorable races, the teams that once took part in the Cordoba mountains. The most resonant pilots of the category and the brands with an enormous prestige that have participated, during these 40 successful epilogues.

Also, an interesting dynamic that TEIN transmits to us from Japan, where it competed in the opening of the Japanese National Rally in the perfection of Aichi, in Shinshiro JRC 2020, under the leadership of the precise local driver, Takuma Kamada, on the Subaru WRX STI of the ITZZ Motorsport.

The Polish photographers Greg Roslon & Jakub Nazim, who have a stellar presence in the inner world of the publication we mentioned, had the opportunity to be present in the African chapter of WRC 2020, the Kenya Safari, with their presence offering their spectacular photos and demonstrating their validity in their professional work of the World Rally. Providing us with some dreamy images. how it happens in this conclave of the RRM WRC 141, that we extract extreme photo qualities from both specialized graphic reporters and that generate a great enthusiasm in their official coverage, under the total accreditation of our national and international graphic media. With the refusal to run between the paths of Mount Kilimanjaro, this dark possibility of the CMR in Nairobi will be seen on another occasion, possibly in 2021.

Hyundai and a lethal love with the Rally of Argentina, winner in three occasions of the South American event with the Belgian Thierry Neuville and the native of New Zealand, Hayden Paddon, in the editions 2017, 2019 and 2016. In addition to inserting itself in the Cordovan valleys, the South Korean constructor, in the late 90s, with the English structure MSD, managed by British magnate David Whitehead, using in the first instance the Hyundai Coupe Kit Car and then the Accent WRC, under the conductive orbit of Alister McRae and Kenneth Eriksson.

In regards to corporate interviews with sports planning, it has been achieved in question, with a very interesting talk, from Mitaka’s headquarters in the fabulous STI Gallery, with “kumi” Kumiko Shinozaki, the communication and advertising manager of Subaru Motorsport , who told us about his beginnings, his management balance, the trips he made and what he experienced with the competitions of the Japanese car manufacturer, which produces successes in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, the NBR and stands out in the local Super GT of his country, with the fantastic Coupe BRZ GT 3000. In addition to the indecision that Subaru STI management must resolve, regarding whether or not to enter the WRC E in 2022, the electric and hybrid nomination of the future new concept that will originate the World Rally Championship in 2 years.

Peugeot Sport Italy officially returns to CIR 2020, and will do so with the new 208 Rally 4, which has a very important conceptual format, with the glorious duo in the Italian Rally (UCCI/USSI), Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi, who will return to activity with this new project, which is ambitious to win another title in Italy.

Mexico, the bittersweet victory, held by the French Sébastien Ogier with Toyota and the parameter that causes this unexpected postponement of events in the WRC 2020.

Top Run, and the unforgettable pass through the World Rally Championship with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V from Group N, with the experienced Uruguayan, Gustavo Trelles and the intention of returning to the ring with the Fabia R5 in the WRC3 division.

Maria del Mar Molar, the sculptural model from Cordoba, who was tempted by Hyundai Motorsport to be the image to be seen in Villa Carlos Paz, of the now postponed “40 years” event of the Rally of the Republic of Argentina, which is rumoured to be the culmination date of the WRC 2020, at the end of November.
With the stunning i20 Coupe WRC Plus from Azenau, sweeping the mountains of Cordoba.
So it is in one more section, which leaves RRM WRC Argentina Magazine, 141 and we wait the 142, with many concerns, with the WRC E 2022 regulation, a report by those on TOYOTA and Tommi Mäkinen, and the indelible memory of Junior Menem Competition, Carlitos, his memory and integration with the Italian Grifone, under the management of Zulemita Menem, and Sufan’s entry to the World Championship of the discipline in 1997.

We go for more, that is the essence, after 21 years, the passion that unites us and stands out above the rest.

Endurance Cup seat opens up at Madpanda Motorsport

Championship leaders Madpanda Motorsport looking for a new driver
New driver to join Assenheimer, Companc in 37 hours of races
Jorge Cabezas leaves team due to sponsorship reasons
[BARCELONA, SPAIN – Monday, 17 August 2020] An exciting seat for the remainder of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup season, including the Total 24 Hours of Spa, has opened up at Madpanda Motorsport with Jorge Cabezas unfortunately having to leave the team.

The exciting opportunity for a Silver-rated racer includes 37 hours of racing between September and November, competing in highly competitive GT World Challenge Europe endurance events at the Nürburgring and Circuit Paul Ricard, as well as the prestigious Total 24 Hours of Spa.

Cabezas had a promising debut performance in the three-hour Endurance Cup opener at Imola in July, but he is unable to complete the season due to sponsorship reasons.

Since its debut race a little over three weeks ago, Madpanda Motorsport has already proven its race-winning potential, taking a win and a runner-up finish at Misano earlier this month. With these results, Madpanda Motorsport is currently leading the GT World Challenge Europe Silver teams’ championship, while team principal Ezequiel Companc leads the Silver drivers’ standings.

Preparations are already underway for the next Endurance Cup round, a six-hour race at Germany’s historic Nürburgring. Madpanda Motorsport’s new signing will join Companc and experienced Mercedes-AMG driver Patrick Assenheimer at the Nürburgring, 24H Spa (this year running to 25 hours) and Paul Ricard, totalling 37 hours of racing.

Ezequiel Companc, team principal and driver: “First of all, it’s a real shame that Jorge has had to cut his maiden GT3 program short. I was really encouraged by his performance at Imola and the chemistry he built up with the rest of the team in such a short time. I hope to welcome him back to the team in the future. For now, we’re on the lookout for a skilled Silver-rated driver to join Patrick and I at the remaining three races. I’m confident that we have an exciting package that will appeal to quality drivers. We’ve proven ourselves with our double podium and win at Misano, and we know we’ll only get better and better after this strong starting point.”

EASYWRITE MAKES ITS DEBUT IN MOTORSPORT: THE PACE NOTES SYSTEM BECOMES A DEVICE 🇬🇧 🇮🇹 🌏

Easywrite makes its debut in Motorsport: the pace notes system becomes a device

The adventure of the innovative start-up begins from the Rally,

«We are ready to write your success»

The adventure of the innovative start-up begins from the rally, with the creation of a graduated device able to generate pace notes, made possible with the collaboration of Chris Ingram (ERC Champion 2019) and Simone Campedelli (Pro Rally Driver).

Lubiana (SLO) – On Monday 20th July was presented, exclusively through the social media channels, the first-ever product by EasywriteTM. The online-only presentation showed perfectly the brand values to reach everyone, anywhere
and in every moment.

The brand Ambassadors Chris Ingram (European Rally Champion 2019) and Simone Campedelli (Pro Rally Driver) joined the launch of the product. The two drivers had a major role in the development of the product. Furthermore, they will “lead” the buyers in a very full experience on the Easywrite’s website, thanks to a series of video tutorial.

Easywrite: changing the Motorsport rules in order to make them available for everyone
More than else driven by passion, this young and international Team had the intuition that – even in Motorsport – things that are available only for a selected group can also be simplified and made available for everyone.

Beginning from the rally world, the Team started to think about the not-so-easy problem of the pace notes, where nowadays even the professional drivers still use rudimental and non-shareable methods.

Creating a method that can be used in any situation and in any ‘recce’ condition, the main aim is to teach in the simplest and very intuitive way possible one of the keys to victory in the rallies.

The product is dedicated to all the rally drivers, without any age or experience restriction.

For the rookies, for the amateurs and for everyone who wants to improve their own driving skills in rally, the R&D Team developed a patented steering wheel cover and an exclusive online course, available in English and Italian language.

The perfect mix between the analogue and the digital world.

Focus on the device: simple and fast to use

Available from now on the website www.easywriterally.com, the EasywriteTM steering wheel cover is an international patented product, and it is designed to fit perfectly on the steering wheel of every road car, ensuring versatility and
universality of usage.

As an example, the double-face design allows to choose how to write the pace notes on the roadbook: the number “6” represents a high-speed turn and the number “1” a slow one for the European system, and vice versa for the Anglo-Saxon system.

The assembly and dismantling operations require just a few seconds and thanks to its marker – placed in the centre of the cockpit (driver’s side) – it is possible to identify in a direct, objective and photographic way the rotation of the steering wheel, consequently taking the pace notes.

From the very first use, it will be possible to write down performing notes

without any worries, easing the mental stress that affects very often a rally team – in particular the ones who have just a little experience. The process created by Easywrite is far from subjective and sometimes discontinuous methodologies still in use.

The R&D Team made thousands of kilometres in order to guarantee precision, durability and reliability of the device, focusing on the details that allow the driver to visualize with ease and in every condition the reference on the steering
wheel cover. For this purpose, the chosen colours are the white, the black and the fluorescent yellow.

Focus on the course: learn the secrets from and with the Champions

In the package that the buyers will receive, a QR Code will give have access to the video lessons on the Easywrite website.

The languages available are two: English and Italian. Then the Easywrite Ambassadors, Chris Ingram and Simone Campedelli, will teach and show how to use properly the steering wheel cover, and will share their secrets to write pace notes in a perfect way already after one single ‘recce’.

The online courses will be available for ever and for unlimited times, once the buyer confirms its purchase. In doing so, Easywrite provides a universal, easy and intuitive learning method, where the Champions are ready to engage with all those rally drivers who are ready to enjoy a new Motorsport community.

In making possible to actively engage with Champions, the learning process becomes equal for everyone, especially for one aspect considered as the keys to victory in rally: the writing and the reading of pace notes on the roadbook.

And if until now nobody in the rally shared their own secrets, starting from now every driver can learn every aspect of this – so far – unexplored area, improving its performance in a positive environment.

Easywrite: Mission & Vision
Easywrite has an ambitious goal in the Motorsport:

to create a worldwide technical language, starting from the rally championship, in order to improve the performance of the whole team, especially the driver and its co-driver. And
the sharing of all these kind of experiences with a new kind of Motorsport community.

Andrea Villa (Easywrite Project Manager)
«We are very proud to present our first-ever product all round the world, and to have by our side two incredible drivers such as Chris Ingram and Simone Campedelli, two perfect examples for the new generations of talented drivers

in many countries. Furthermore, they both have a second aspect that our start-up was looking for: a great sensitivity for all the rally fans, which is shown by their activities on the social media channels. After our first meeting, both of them understood our work philosophy. Putting all their efforts and experience in our project, we were able to create the first of many products that will change the rules of Motorsport».

Chris Ingram (European Rally Champion)
«Since the beginning I understood the Easywrite Team’s mission, and I started to be very passionate about it and to share my experience and my skills as a professional driver. Creating a new kind of community, where everyone can
speak the same language in every part of the world, helping especially the youngsters and the amateur drivers to sharpen their abilities while driving safely, is for me an amazing and revolutionary challenge at the same time».

Simone Campedelli (Pro Rally Driver)
«Several years ago, I had the occasion to learn from a WRC driver some techniques in order to improve my driving skills. Since then, I had the desire to share what I had learned to all the drivers. And now, as an Easywrite Ambassador, that dream become reality: writing down the pace notes on the
roadbook in the right way is one of the fundamental aspects in the rally. As a driver, I really would like to have started my career with this device. I truly believe that learning from the champions a winning method has no price, if one believes in their dreams and really wants to achieve their goals».
