WRC A FULL 2014
Interesting interview with girl photographer of Hungaru, Laura Drága by Rallysport.hu

25 March 2014
From Miskolc in Hungary, our friend and photographer hungarian Laura Drága, working since 2004 in the agency Motorsport Rallysport.hu. Responded us these interesting questions regarding the WRC at present and future in the rallyng sport international.
How did you get started in the art photographer how ?
First of all I’m greeting readers from Hungary!
When I was about 15 years old, I have joined a website, which deals with rally. This is the rallysport.hu, a hungarian site, where first I wrote a lot of articles about hungarian championship. In a year’s time I tried to take photos, and after this I learnt a lot regarding photocamera. After all, I travelled some WRCs and European rallies.
What does the Rally for yourself and the WRC in particular?
Rally is my favourite technical sport and my hobby. WRC is very amazing, and I always try to travel two or three rallies in a year. There are nice and fast cars and a lot of drivers, whom I respect, because they are very talented.
How many rallies have already had the opportunity to cover for Rallysport in Hungary?
Hungary has a good and strong championship, usually in a year there are 6 rallies. My „boss”, Frigyes Szántó and me always stand next to the stages and we are waiting for the best moments, what we can record with our photo machine.
What we can mention your work at the opening of WRC in Monte Carlo ?
The first rally was Monte Carlo in this year regarding WRC, and I worked there as a journalist. I took a lot of photos and wrote articles at the end of the days. My boss and me every evening updated the rallysport.hu. So, it was fantastic but was a little tiring.
What is your next business commitment to the WRC or ERC?
I hope Rally Poland will be my next rally, which is the 7. race in the WRC calendar. Moreover I would like to travel to the french WRC in October, and regarding ERC I plan the Barum rally Zlín and the Sibiu Rally (Romania).
Would you like to come at some point to shoot the Rally of Argentina?
It’s not question :). Of course, I would like to travel to Argentina, but Hungary is very far from your country. Maybe, after some years I will take some rally photos in your country.
What is your favorite driver in the discipline internationally?
I have two favourite drivers, Thierry Neuville and Martin Prokop.
The mark that impresses you in the World Rally in recent years , which can tell us your opinion?
My first WRC was in 2007 in Germany. There was a very strong field, but after this maybe was weaker. Nowadays WRC also has a respectable field, and drivers battle hard to the world rally title. This battle is very amazing next to the stages.
What observation is Hyundai ‘s entry and initial test Toyota this week in Italy?
So, one of my favourite driver is Thierry Neuville, who works with Hyundai team. When I heard, that he will be the first driver at the team, I waited for Hyundai first appearance. Regarding Toyota I read some articles about Yaris, and I hope this brand will surprise for the field next year.
Laura, culminating may WRC 2015 Rallysport support for Hungary to cover the full season in the division?
I would like to be there every rallies, but Rallysport.hu is my second job, and I haven’t got enough free time for travellings. But now I’m planning about three or four WRC next year.
Many thanks for questions, Pablito 🙂
