Fast-paced football followed by a fast-paced feeling: Bundesliga team VfL Wolfsburg takes a trip to Trier

VfL Wolfsburg will visit Volkswagen at the Rally Germany on Saturday and Sunday. Last season’s cup winners have announced that head coach Dieter Hecking, director Klaus Allofs, defender Christian Träsch and midfielder Maximilian Arnold will be in attendance. Hecking, Allofs, Träsch and Arnold will head to Trier directly after their away match against 1. FC Köln, where they will watch the rally cars in service and then head to the special stages in the vineyards the following morning.

Rock’n’Roll: Revolverheld to storm the Volkswagen stage in Baumholder

Ready to rock Panzerplatte: The band Revolverheld will be giving it their all on the Volkswagen stage in Baumholder on Saturday. Despite the break between special stages 13 (“Panzerplatte Lang”) and 14 (“Grafschaft”), hits such as “Das kann uns keiner nehmen” will really turn up the volume. Before that, the band members will gain an insight into Volkswagen’s involvement in the WRC – during the Flexi Service in Trier.

Debut – the Volkswagen dashboard provides comprehensive rally information

The live experience is only greater out on the special stages: A new information system makes its debut at Volkswagen during the Rally Germany. The “Rally Dashboard” uses timing information, posts on social media and other sources to aggregate an overview of the action that is always up-to-date – live and directly. Initially, three of these terminals will be available to guests in the Volkswagen hospitality areas at the Rally Germany; the screens will be dotted around various other parts of the service park in the future.

5 … 4 … 3… 2 … 1 – Volkswagen’s motorsport presence on verge of milestone on Facebook

Volkswagen may be celebrating the next milestone in social media networks at their home rally. The Facebook presence of the motorsport department,, is just 5,000 Likes away from reaching the 5 million mark. Before competing in the World Rally Championship, Volkswagen Motorsport started with 50,000 Likes, which means it has increased its fan community almost a hundredfold. Through this channel alone, Volkswagen reaches around ten million fans each month.
