This rising young driver was a lead role in Auto 24 Rally Estonia 2015 for ERC Championship 2015 driving a ŠKODA Fabia S2000 from TGS Team, run by “Flying Finn,” Toni Gardemeister. But, he had to retire from special stage 8 due to technical problems with his Czech unit while he was among the top 10 at that European race.

Another major participation for “Flying Finn” Toni Gardemeister’s squad, settled in Tallin, Estonia, again with the amazing presence of Teemu Suninen, Scandinavian promise and Timo Jouhki’s protege, making a good performance over the gravel fast roads of Estonia on board a usual ŠKODA Fabia S2000 from TGS Team. The couple of Suninen/Markkula was ninth in the overall qualifying until a delay where they lost 4 minutes and a later retirement in Otepää, during special stages 7 and 8 due to technical problems in the Czech machine.
Next event for us will be Weiz Rally with two cars..Both Teemu and Dmitry will be on start line..
Now, the team is attentively looking forward their next commitments at Weiz Rally Neste Oil Rally Finland in Jyväskylä late in July and early August with Suninen and Russian driver Dmitri Biryukov; and afterwards at ADAC Rally Deutschland in German vineyards of Trier by the end of August. Both events with ŠKODA Fabia S2000 while they wait for the mid-term renewal of Fabia R5 last generation.
Also to highlight, the repeated successful tests of Finland “wonder boy” Kalle Rovanperä, still leaving fans all over the world open-mouthed with his performance driving a Fabia S2000, this time over gravel, along with Risto Pietiläinen and the absolute follow-up of his father Harri.
