From the factory in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, Škoda Motorsport Communication Manager, Karel Pokorny, with Mr. Pavel Hortek offered to us an interesting exclusive interview with Sports Operation General Manager, Michal Hrabánek, of the most successful team in the last few years on the European tournament, Škoda.
Michal shows us the team present with Super 2000 and the auspicious future looking forward to the R5 new generation.

Michal, a brief overview of Liepaja’s win with young Esapekka Lappi?

Tough rally, huge snowfalls ahead of 1st leg, demanding logistics for the team and perfect performance of Esapekka – safe start and marvellous day 2 where EP has shown his quality on this surface.

Does brilliant and outstanding today’s performance of Fabia Super 2000?

Fabia S2000 is nowadays on its performance limits as no more upgrades are allowed by FIA but still it is the best car in the Super 2000 category.

Does this season priority to develop the new Škoda R5?

This is our priority Nr. 1 for this year.

Have already decided the working plan in Mlada Boleslav and who will be in charge of doing the tests with the 1st prototype of Fabia R5 new generation?

We will use all of our drivers and also other testing pilots but to have the real R 5 on the street still needs some time.

Mr. Hrabánek, means the approval and premiere with Skoda R5 will be mid-2015?

Up to the current plan and status the Fabia R5 should be homologated by mid 2015.
